My journey into the world of photography started about 8 years ago when it was just a fun little hobby. You know, the kind where you rope your friends into posing for “candid” shots and hope they don’t get too annoyed (shoutout to those friends!). What started as a weekend escape with my camera, away from my tradie job in a busy quickly turned into something I couldn't get enough of.

Then came the day I bought my first camera—talk about a game changer! I knew it wasn’t just about taking photos anymore; it was about chasing a passion. After that, things slowly took off. My friends were total legends, helping me kickstart my journey by letting me take photos at their epic parties—completely for free! But these weren’t just your regular backyard parties. I found myself on stages with some music legends, capturing motocross events and epic ramp jumps, and even shooting foam parties. I wasn’t focused on getting paid—I just wanted to build my name and immerse myself in every crazy, exciting moment.

Fast forward a year, I knew I wanted to take things to the next level. I decided to dive deeper into my hobby, so I took the plunge and spent two years studying photography, screen production, and digital design at Yoobee Colleges. I was eager to upskill, especially when it came to editing and videography, because I knew there was so much more to learn.

 

Graduating with two diplomas in the industry, this decision completely transformed my casual camera obsession into a full-blown creative career. Soon enough, I found myself working with all kinds of amazing clients—from a tattoo studio, to a forest lodge, and even landing my first wedding gig. These experiences opened the door to capturing love stories, family bonds, and life’s most beautiful moments for awesome people like you!

 

My first wedding gig? It was a cocktail of excitement, nerves, and pure joy. The responsibility of capturing someone’s big day—one of the most important days of their lives—was huge, but I was all in. There’s something magical about being part of such an emotional, love-filled day, and I knew right then that this was where I was meant to be.

 

Since putting my foot in the door, I’ve grown not just as a photographer, but as a person and an editor too. My style has evolved, and I’ve learned so much about how to capture raw emotion, tell stories through images, and make every edit count. What started as a hobby has turned into a passion and a career I absolutely love. So, whether I’m shooting weddings, family portraits, or anything in between, I’m here to make sure every moment is as fun and memorable as the photos themselves.
